Welcome to AsliMomin.com

I am Asli Momin, and I warmly welcome you all.
I am an Indian, and my only wish is that our nation prospers, remains peaceful, and moves forward.

India is vast and diverse. Differences in beliefs are natural. But when these differences turn into fanaticism and intolerance, when co-existence disappears, that becomes a serious problem.

What is the purpose of this website?

Why do certain ideologies and groups spread the belief that –

  • India’s National Anthem is haram
  • Saying “Bharat Mata ki Jai” is haram
  • Singing “Vande Mataram” is haram
  • India’s Ashoka Emblem is haram

Our effort is simply to understand where and why such a mindset and politics originate.

The Question – Why only Islam?

You may ask — “If you seek harmony, then why write only about Islam?”

My answer is simple:
🔹 This is my research, my interest.
🔹 If you see flaws in another belief system, you are free to raise your voice too.

Aslimomin.com welcomes everyone — Hindu, Muslim, or from any other faith.
If you are Muslim, I especially invite you to read. And then ask yourself:
👉 Are the teachings of the books truly just and moral?

Because I am not attacking you.
I am only trying to understand the God and the Prophet as described in the scriptures, and compare them with the God and moral values in my own heart.

And maybe you should also reflect:
👉 The God in my heart — is He the same as the God of the book?

The Journey

Who knows—could it be that the very books we accepted as the ultimate truth were, over time, altered to mislead us? Yet, the reality is that most of us never even wish to think about this question. Why? Because we have assumed that just as we are pure and sincere, so too must have been all those through whose hands these scriptures reached us. We were made to believe that their preservation was guaranteed by God Himself—yet the very same books also contain harsh and inhumane passages.

Reflecting on this possibility, we have launched an effort here at AsliMomin.com.
This is a space where we will engage with difficult questions and attempt to understand the true nature of God. Our humble request is that you do not take this personally or emotionally, but rather approach it in an academic and thoughtful spirit.

For this purpose, we have prepared a series of questions—The Book of My Questions.”

By reading these questions step by step, you can discover for yourself what the true God is like—whether as described in the scriptures, or as guided by our conscience and morality.

The scriptures we believe in—are they really original and preserved (unaltered)?

And even if the scriptures were never altered, one must still ask—
Does the God and His messenger described in the books truly resemble the One our heart and conscience recognize?

“You haven’t read it properly”—Have you really read the Qur’an correctly? →

Now you may feel confused, wondering: How can faith be preserved—while still keeping humanity and morality alive?

Once you have read this far, you will understand the context and purpose of our effort. From here, we move forward to explore—Scriptural history vs. Archaeological evidence.

And when that foundation becomes clear, we will then turn to History and Claims:

  • Islamic Calendar → [Link]
  • Islamic Claim: Abraham → [Abraham Article]
  • The Ma’rib Dam Theory → [Ma’rib Article]

After that, in other writings, we will also try to understand what Islamic strategy actually says.

Islamic Strategy

  • Political Doctrines of Islam → [Political Doctrines of Islam]

In our upcoming articles, you will also find many more questions—from “The Book of Our Questions.

The Real Purpose

I am not here to abuse or mock.
I am here to ask:

👉 Is the God in my heart the same as the God of the book?
👉 Do my morals and humanity align with the commands of scripture?

Because self-reflection (aatma-manthan) is essential.
Without it, faith becomes blind belief.

Final Thought

I am not refusing to ask questions.
I am only comparing — the God and Prophet of the books with the God and values I carry in my heart.

In the end, the decision is yours:
⚖️ Is your God truly the one you chose? Or the one imposed upon you?
