Who Am I – The Real Belliever’s Voice

Yes, it’s me.
That man people look at and say: “He is misguided!”
But think for a moment — who does the misleading? The Qur’an says: “Allah misguides whom He wills.” (16:93)
So if I am misguided, am I really at fault? Or is this “order” coming from above?

Now tell me — is being misguided by Allah’s will still a sin?

I read books. I open the Qur’an. I turn the pages of Hadith.
The more I read, the more questions I have.
And whenever I raise these questions, people panic.
They say: “Don’t ask that. Don’t think about this.”

But tell me — if the mind was meant to stay closed, why did God give it to us?
Just to balance a cap on our head?

The Qur’an says: “Obey Allah and His Messenger.” (4:59)
So where will I find their words? From WhatsApp University? Or from the actual books?
If I am reading those books, doesn’t that mean I am obeying them?
So then, who is the real believer? Me… or the one who keeps saying “Ameen-ameen” without ever opening the book?

And yes, when I say “I am more of a believer than you,” people get offended.
But why be offended? You never opened the Qur’an, I did.
You don’t know what’s inside, I check it every day.
So who is closer to Allah and His Messenger — you or me?

Of course, there is fear too.
The more I read Qur’an and Hadith, the more doubts rise;
and the more questions I ask, the greater the risk to my life.
Sometimes it feels like asking questions is the biggest sin in Islam.
The Qur’an itself says: “O you who believe, do not ask about matters which, if revealed to you, will distress you…” (5:101)
So, questioning is forbidden.
Amazing! A religion that claims to be the “Truth,” afraid of questions?

So here’s the rule of this game:
If I ask, I am a kafir, misguided, a hypocrite.
If I stay silent, I am a believer.
In short: “Don’t think. Don’t ask. Just obey.”

But I believe…
If Allah gave us a heart, a brain, and a book, then using them is the real faith.

And that’s why I started this website: aslimomin.com.
Here I write my questions, share my search, and bring to you what I find in the books.
Read it, get angry, laugh, or give me answers.
But don’t silence me.

Because if you silence me—
then you are not the true believer,
but a fearful blind follower,
afraid of your own religion’s books.

Here you will not only find articles but also questions — chosen from my “Book of Questions.”
This place is open to everyone — whether you are a student, a researcher, or just a stubborn believer.
Whoever you are, you are welcome here.
Here you will face new questions, challenge old views, and maybe even start your own search for answers.

Why do I write? Why do I seek all this?
Because today, on social media, people openly say:
“We don’t follow the Constitution, Qur’an comes first.”
“We will demolish the Ram temple again.”
“Behead the blasphemer.”

These are not just angry words or emotions — this is a whole ideology.
And too often, this dangerous mindset gets covered up under the labels of “secularism” or “Ganga-Jamuni tehzeeb.”

But my question is — where does this mindset come from?
Why and how does such an ideology take birth?

It is important to understand this truth.
So that next time, when someone hides behind the Constitution or humanity to justify such words,
we are ready — not blind, but with full knowledge of the truth.

That’s why I ask questions, write, and open my Book of Questions in front of you.

I always say—
If I am wrong, defeat me with arguments.
If your reasoning is stronger than mine, I will delete that section from my website and apologize.
At least have that much honesty—before becoming a killer.

So yes, I say this with a smile:
I am the Asli Momin.
Because I read.
I question.
I know Allah and His Messenger through the books.

The rest… you decide—
Are you the true believer, or just a blind follower lost in the crowd?
